ABSTRACT
This is the field guide to a geological field trip around the Sabana de Bogota, carried out on August 26, 1996 during the VII Colombian Geological Congress. It describes the regional geology, main geological highlights, structural geology, stratigraphy and economic geology of this important Colombian region.
